Coping with children
I MUST EMPHASISE THAT I'M NOT A CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST. MY FOCUS IS ON HELPING THE ADULTS IN A CHILD’S LIFE TO COPE AROUND THEM, WHEN BEHAVIOUR MAY BE CHALLENGING AND RELATIONSHIPS DIFFICULT. I'VE HELPED MANY TEACHERS, OTHER SCHOOL STAFF AND PARENTS TO COPE VIA INCREASING THEIR RESILIENCE AND MANAGING STRESS. IT'S IMPORTANT TO BE AWARE OF OUR RESPONSES, BEHAVIOUR AND COPING MECHANISMS AS ADULTS - AS CHILDREN COPY THEM FROM AN EARLY AGE.
