A little bit about me
DR. CATHERINE TREGONING PHD CPSYCHOL AFBPSS
I’m a Chartered Psychologist specialising in Health Psychology. I hold a Doctorate, a Masters and I’m registered with both the British Psychological Society and the Health & Care Professionals Council. As a Health Psychologist I specialise in promoting both mental and physical wellbeing – and the strong relationship between the two. I focus upon improving health and lifestyles by helping clients to understand and improve the relationship between their mind and body, and have been heavily involved in research to identify interventions for best achieving this within particular professional groups.

For over 20 years I’ve worked to support people to cope with change and challenge in both their professional and personal lives. I use my expertise to help tackle anything and everything that clients experience. Most issues are caused by, or lead to, stress and anxiety, problems with motivation, confidence and/or self-esteem.

I have worked extensively within both education and medical education, with doctors and teachers
– but also with a wide range of others...
from executives, architects, pilots and nurses,
to patients coping with health struggles and others finding things difficult.

I have additional qualifications and experience, including in psychometric testing,
neuro-linguistic programming, motivational interviewing, counselling, career development,
team building, mentoring, teaching/training and research.
