CHARTERED HEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST

I can help you to make rapid and lasting changes

...and prevent your mental health from declining further.

I provide individual support & group workshops,

taking a focussed approach to address your exact needs.

Via video call or telephone from wherever is convenient and you're most comfortable.

--------------------

HOW CAN A PSYCHOLOGIST HELP ME?

Psychologists provide strategies for strengthening mental wellbeing,

help you to make sense of your thoughts and support you.

Everything we do is evidence and science based.

Unlike Psychiatrists, we do not prescribe,

instead we seek to produce long-term improvements

by addressing the root cause of your problems and providing coping techniques.

WHAT IS A HEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST?

Health Psychologists recognise the impact of

mental health upon physical wellbeing,

and vice versa - the impact of

physical health and ill-health upon mental wellbeing.

Hence we look at the person as a whole and promote

all round health and lifestyle improvements.

We work work with the general public, patients, and health professionals,

providing individual help as well as group support and training,

and carry out research.

--------------------

It's just as important to look after your mental health as your physical health.

--------------------

Everyone can benefit from some time out

to make sure your mind is functioning as well as it could be.

Psychological interventions can prevent further problems as well as treat existing ones.

Start to make a change...

My 1-to-1 sessions and workshops are most suited to those who wish to take positive steps to improve their health and wellbeing, and progress in their life and career.

They’re aimed at those who feel they would benefit from taking some time to improve their thought patterns and coping mechanisms, and may be experiencing mild mental health difficulties.

If this sounds like you - then I have a ‘toolkit’ of psychological techniques and strategies, many developed by myself, which can help.

IF YOU'RE READY TO COMMIT TO MAKING REAL CHANGES - then I can help you start to do that quickly...

It's not just about 'talking' - in addition, we'll work to ensure you also learn practical ways to quickly make changes...

Lose problematic thoughts.

Respond to difficult situations in better ways.

Develop more helpful thinking habits.

Learn strategies to improve your mental health.

Be ready and know how to cope when things get tough.

TAKE BACK CONTROL OF YOUR OWN MIND.
